Bollywood Bites Limited is an authentic, specialist Indian street food caterer operating from our base in Watford, Hertfordshire. Our mission is to provide high-quality, freshly prepared, and compliant Indian cuisine via a flexible, efficient service model, proven to operate successfully across corporate, local authority, and large-scale event settings.

• Headquartered in Watford with a primary Manufacturing and Café unit in Kings Langley
• Capacity and Scale: Our operational model is built for resilience and volume. Our dedicated Café and Manufacturing Unit in Kings Langley serves as our primary production kitchen, enabling high-volume meal preparation and centralised quality control, which directly supports our mobile units and large contract deliveries.
• We also operate an award winning street food van, enabling mobile catering for up to 200 people in one street food occasion 
• We are experienced at large scale event catering - having a client book of corporate, private clients & event venues 
• Dual Leadership Expertise: Our success is driven by a unique blend of culinary and strategic expertise:

  • Nisha Riat (Managing Director): The creative and quality force, an acclaimed Leiths Online Professional Cookery School Accredited Chef. This ensures technical excellence in every product.

  • Avneet Riat (Co-Founder): Provides strategic and operational leadership, leveraging extensive experience from 8 years at Just Eat Takeaway.com and as a strategic advisor at KFC UKI, ensuring our delivery model is efficient, scalable, and compliant with Tier-1 logistical standards.
• SME Status: A dynamic, woman-owned Small to Medium Enterprise, contributing positively to local economy and procurement diversity.

Our background: 

Bollywood Bites launched in 2024 to bring the flavours of India here for everyone to enjoy (based in Watford). With passion and quality at the helm of our business, we believe that everyone deserves to spice up their life. We aim to become the UK's most well known Indian Street Food company by making quality street food more fun and accessible. 

Our story:

After having reviewed the existing propositions of mobile Indian street food across London and the South East, we found that whilst there are a couple of options - there is a gap in high quality, authentic produce which provides both flavoursome and healthy options.  

Nisha Riat: Being brought up in London to parents of Indian origin who emigrated to the UK from Africa, I have been exposed to a rich Indian palette from an early age. Of Gujarati descent, I have grown up in a community of proud heritage.

Celebrated through food, I learned early on about the art of Indian cooking and have of course visited India, developing a passion for Mumbai street fare. I realised my dream to further and finesse my culinary creations, completing the professional cookery course from Leiths Online

Cookery School. I have passed Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergy Awareness certificates and Bollywood Bites is now an NCASS accredited business, ready to churn out high grade happiness on a plate, from kitchen to customer.

Avneet Riat: Has a 20+ year career consulting for multiple startups, scaleups and enterprise businesses. Avneet has lived in the UK, India (Delhi) and Canada developing a good understanding of Indian cuisine and its multiple flavours. He spent 8 years in senior roles at Just Eat Takeaway & as an advisor at KFC UKI - developing a deep understanding of the global food industry, restaurants and logistics. Avneet is also level 3 qualified as a food services supervisor.
