Create an order for a customer

The following guide requires you to be logged in.

Getting started

  1. On nuento.co.uk, open the menu in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Order overview.

  3. Select Create quote.

Watch our video guide (coming soon) or follow the steps below.

Choose a collection and a product

  1. Select Collection.

  2. Select Product.

  3. If you'd like to add a discount, you can do so now.

  4. Select "I'll fill it in for the customer".

  5. Add a message to the customer if you like — they'll see it when they open the booking link you send them to complete the order.

  6. Select Continue.

Configure the order

  1. Choose the number of covers.

  2. Make your selections under My choices.

  3. Add location and Add date to the order.

  4. Select Create quote.

Enter the customer's details

You can now either send the booking link to the customer or fill in their details yourself (for example, if you've already received them by email or phone).

If you fill in the customer's details, you'll need to:

  1. Choose when service should start.

  2. Choose when you expect to arrive.

  3. Choose the event type and write a short description (for your own reference).

  4. Enter the street name, house number and any other delivery details.

  5. Enter the customer's full name.

  6. Enter the customer's email.

  7. Enter the customer's phone number (the customer uses this to log in to their Nuento account).

Enter the invoicing details

You can again send the booking link to the customer, who can then enter the invoicing details themselves. If you already have these details, you can fill them in for the customer:

  1. State whether it's an individual or business customer.

  2. Enter the remaining invoicing details.

  3. Enter who should receive the invoice. This can be the same email you entered earlier.

  4. Add a purchase order number, note or similar if relevant.

  5. Select New order.

  6. Select Place order for the customer.

The order has been created!

Congratulations! You've now completed the order for the customer, and they will receive an email confirming it.

If you'd like to move an existing order into the Nuento booking system, follow the same guide but choose Existing order instead of New order. The customer will then receive an email explaining that the order has been moved to your new booking system — and the system will handle all invoicing for you.
